A wonderful end to the year before Christmas: Live on Hitradio Ö3, AT&S presented the final sum of this year’s fundraising campaign on behalf of all partners and chose a suitable rock song to go with it.

Leoben, December 23, 2025 – For weeks, donations were collected around the AT&S headquarters in Leoben: With deposit bins, donation boxes at the Christmas tree sale and at the Charity Run organized by AT&S with the Works Council, the Montanuniversität Leoben, the RHI and the Hinterberg football club. A total of EUR 20,000 was raised, which will now go to the “Licht ins Dunkel Soforthilfefonds” and families in need.

CEO Michael Mertin was live in Hitradio Ö3’s glass studio on Kapitelplatz in Salzburg to present the donation. “There is great enthusiasm for the Ö3 Christmas Miracle in our company. This year it culminated in a fantastic Charity Night Run,” said Mertin. “Events like this bring people together, bring families together – and then people are happy to donate to a good cause.”

There was also an internal message live on the radio: “Many thanks to all employees for their great performance throughout the year. We have made huge progress in the company.” This was also underscored by the song Mertin chose to accompany the donation: “We will rock you” by Queen. “That absolutely suits our workforce. We have rocked the company, we have rocked success and we have earned that song.”
