Google Analytics uses cookies, i.e. text files which are stored on your computer and enable us to analyze the use of the website. As a rule, the information about your use of this website generated by such cookies is transmitted to a server of Google in the USA and stored there.

The storage of Google Analytics cookies is based on Art. 6 (1) point f of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). As the website operator, we have a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior in order to optimize both our web offering and our advertising.

You may prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the corresponding setting of your browser software; however, please note that you may not be able to fully use all features of this website in this case. The Facebook Pixel enables Facebook to define the visitors of our website as a target group for the display of advertisements (“Facebook Ads”). Accordingly, we use the Facebook Pixel (new Meta Pixel) to target the Facebook Ads we place only to Facebook users who also showed interest in our online offering or have specific characteristics (e.g. interest in certain topics or products, which become evident based on the websites visited), which we transmit to Facebook (“Custom Audiences”). By using the Facebook Pixel, we also aim to ensure that our Facebook Ads are in line with the users’ potential interests and do not have an annoying effect. Moreover, the Facebook Pixel allows us to track the effectiveness of the Facebook advertisements for statistical and market research purposes since we can see if users were forwarded to our website after clicking on a Facebook advertisement (“conversion tracking”).

This website uses the “LinkedIn Insight Tag” of LinkedIn. The data collected is anonymous for AT&S and does not give any indication of the user’s identity. Using data from the LinkedIn Insight Tag allows us to place personalized ads anonymously. In addition, we receive reports on the website target group and the ad performance. With the LinkedIn Insight Tag, LinkedIn can collect data about visits of members on the AT&S website, including the URL, referrer, IP address, device and browser properties (User Agent) and timestamp. LinkedIn uses anonymous data in order to improve the relevance of advertisements and to reach members across devices. The IP addresses are truncated or hashed (when they are used to reach members across devices), and the direct identifiers of members are removed within seven days to pseudonymize the data. The remaining pseudonymized data will then be deleted within 180 days. The legal basis for the use of the LinkedIn Insight Tags is a legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) point f of the GDPR. AT&S has concluded an agreement with LinkedIn in this context, which you can find at https://legal.linkedin.com/pages-joint-controller-addendum. In principle, you can claim your rights vis-à-vis AT&S and vis-à-vis the operator of the social media portals.

Our website uses functions of several social plugins (“buttons”) of social media such as Facebook and LinkedIn. Social media (e.g. Facebook, YouTube or LinkedIn) allow users of these social media platforms to create links on their social media profiles in order to save them or share them with their social media contacts.

When you visit our website, the buttons to such social media are disabled by default. Without your intervention, no data will be sent to any social networks. Before you can use these buttons, you have to enable them by clicking on them. They will then stay enabled until you disable them again.

After enabling the buttons, a direct connection to the server of the respective social network will be established. The content of the button will then be transmitted directly from the social network to your browser and embedded in the website by the browser. After enabling a button, the social network can retrieve data, regardless of whether or not you interact with the button.

When you are logged into a social network, the network can associate your website visit with your user account.

If you are a user of a social network and do not want data from your visit to our website to be combined with your user data, you have to log out from the relevant social network before enabling the buttons.

We have no influence on the scope of data which social networks collect through their buttons. The data use guidelines of the social networks provide information about the purpose and extent of the data collected by them, how such data is used, your rights, and the settings you can use to protect your privacy. For further information regarding the scope and purpose of such collection and processing of your data, please note the privacy statements of the providers, whose services and/or content we hold responsible for the protection of your data in this context.
